The Midnight Milk: A Bedtime Latte for the Chronic Overthinker
Itâs 11:30 PM. Youâve scrolled past the same 12 memes twice. Your brain is running a marathon you didn't sign up for. You need a ritual that signals Game Over to your central nervous system. Meet the Midnight Milk.
Why this works (The Science)
We use our Amber Olympus blend as the base. The Chamomile provides the Apigenin (the sleep trigger), and the warmth of the milk (dairy or oat) triggers a psychological sense of safety. Plus, the cinnamon in our blend supports metabolic harmony while you sleep.
The Ingredients
- 2 tsp LittleCalm Amber Olympus loose leaf tea.
- 1 cup Milk (Oat milk works best for the creamy texture).
- A tiny drop of honey (Optional our blend is naturally sweet from the liquorice).
- A pinch of ground nutmeg.
The 5-Minute Ritual
- The Steep:Â Brew your Amber Olympus in 1/2 cup of hot water for 7 minutes. (Don't rush it valerian needs time).
- The Froth:Â While thatâs steeping, warm your milk in a pan. If you have a frother, use it. If not, a vigorous whisking works.
- The Blend:Â Strain the tea into your favourite mug. Pour the warm, frothy milk over the top.
- The Finish:Â Dust with nutmeg. Put your phone in another room. Drink.
